Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes! The venue is accessible from both the entrance through the foyer on the esplanade, as well as through both beer garden gates.
Can I bring a cake?
Yes, we offer cake-cutting for a one-off cakeage fee of $20.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. Our menus include a range of options, catering for many dietary requirements. Check the dietary kep on the menu or ask one of our friendly team - the chefs can adapt meals where possible.
Do you allow live music or DJs for functions?
Yes. We have multiple music options for functions: live music, DJs, bluetooth to our speakers, or use our house music!
do i need to make a booking?
Walk-ins are always welcome, however we do recommend booking ahead, particularly during weekends and peak times.
Can I book the beer garden exclusively?
Yes. Our Indoor Bar & Beer Garden can be booked for private events, accommodating 100 - 250 guests.

is the venue dog friendly?
Yes. Dogs are welcome in our beer garden, as well as outside the front of the venue on the esplanade tables.
Is your menu available for takeaway?
Yes! We have a limited food offering for takeaway, available through the kiosk on the esplanade.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes! The car park behind the Salty Dog has free 4-hour parking for all Salty Dog customers. Simply take a ticket on entry and validate it in the venue with any purchase to exit the car park free of charge.
do you offer self catering?
No, unfortunately we do not offer self catering. Due to food and safety requirements, outside food and beverage cannot be consumed on premises.
